Communities Aligned in Early Development & Education (CAEDE) – These grants provide opportunities to expand access to full-day, full-year early childhood care and education services for at-risk children in Wyandotte County ages birth up to kindergarten entry to improve school readiness and health. Applications open April 19th and the deadline for proposals is May 7, 2021.
Recently Closed
Remote Learning Grants, Spring semester 2021– These grants provide support for school-age programs and child care providers. Funds must be awarded and expended by May 28, 2021. Applications were due April 2, 2012.
Kindergarten Readiness Quality Subgrants 2021 – These grants support community efforts to help ensure successful transition of children from early childhood settings into kindergarten. Applications were due March 19.
Early Childhood Block Grant (ECBG) FY22 – The purpose of this grant opportunity is to provide early childhood services for at-risk children ages birth up to kindergarten entry to meet specific early childhood outcomes. This opportunity also applies to prenatal and family support services. Applications were due February 9, 2021.
CARES Act Support for Early Childhood Initiatives – learn about the types of funding, support available, and requirements. CARES Act grants were awarded and expended by December 30, 2020.
Quality Subgrants – read about the 5 categories of grants and the awardees. Proposals were due October 19, 2020.
