Early Childhood Block Grant (ECBG) FY26 – This grant opportunity is to provide early childhood services for Kansas children and families ages birth to kindergarten entry, as well as services for prenatal and family supports. Application submissions closed January 8, 2025 at 5:00 p.m.
Community Based Child Abuse Prevention (CBCAP) – These community-based and statewide grants support primary and secondary prevention efforts. The deadline for submissions was June 28, 2024.
Kindergarten Readiness Quality Subgrants 2022 – These grants support community efforts to help ensure successful transition of children from early childhood settings into kindergarten. Applications closed March 18, 2022 (5:00 PM).
Communities Aligned in Early Development & Education (CAEDE) – These grants provide opportunities to expand access to full-day, full-year early childhood care and education services for at-risk children in Wyandotte County ages birth up to kindergarten entry to improve school readiness and health. The deadline for proposals was May 7, 2021.
Remote Learning Grants, Spring semester 2021 – These grants provide support for school-age programs and child care providers. Funds must be awarded and expended by May 28, 2021. Applications were due April 2, 2012.
CARES Act Support for Early Childhood Initiatives – learn about the types of funding, support available, and requirements. CARES Act grants were awarded and expended by December 30, 2020.
