Early Childhood Block Grant
ECBG Programs
Kansas Early Childhood Block Grant funds are distributed to school districts, child care centers, Head Start sites, and community programs that provide preschool and research-based child development services. The grant process is driven by accountability measures with a focus on at-risk children and underserved areas. ECBG programs collect and use data to help ensure equitable access to services and broad impact.

ECBG FY25 applications are limited to renewals for current FY24 grantees. FY25 renewal applications will be available early February 2024.
